What to expect
After the deposit is paid, the clinic sends the appointment details and preparation notes. The remaining balance is paid after the final treatment plan is confirmed onsite.
I went in assuming I would book LASIK the same day, but the screening showed my corneas were thinner than average and Dr. Jung recommended against it rather than pushing me toward a procedure anyway. I would rather pay for an honest screening than regret a surgery.
Every step of procedure day was explained before it happened, and the follow-up exam was scheduled before I left the clinic, so I did not have to coordinate anything myself before flying home four days later.
